Silly season is upon us!
Per Tom Bogert of MLSSoccer.com, Inter Miami and Atlanta United are holding early discussions over the possibility of acquiring former MLS MVP Josef Martinez:
For Miami, adding a player like Martinez comes as no shock.
After Gonzalo Higuain’s retirement at the end of 2022, the Herons need a forward capable of filling the goalscoring hole the Argentine left.
Though Martinez’s form may have dipped since his ACL injury in early 2020, last season, the Venezuela international still managed to score nine goals in twelve starts.
So with all that said and done, how could he fit in if he comes to Inter Miami?
